Gloucester have been one of the top teams in the Guinness Premiership for the last few years and are regular qualifiers for the Heineken Cup due to some good results in the league. Gloucester have topped the regular season twice in the last three years but they are yet to go on and win the Grand Final yet.
The Cherry and Whites play their home games at Kingsholm and have developed a strong local rivalry with Bath who they often doing battle with on all fronts. Gloucester feature in the Guinness Premiership Odds and should be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. They once again have a strong squad with the likes of Mike Tindall, Lesley Vainikolo and James Simpson-Daniel all featuring for Gloucester.
Gloucester will also be looking to have some major success in the Heineken Cup in the coming year as it is a competition they have failed to make the breakthrough in over the past decade.
