The Six Nations Championship Betting odds are very close with Wales, France, England and defending Champions Ireland all vying for favouritism at around the 3/1 mark. The Irish will be aiming for back-to-back titles and will be strong and high on confidence heading into the tournament. England looked to be making progress in the 2009 tournament when they came in 2nd and they will be dangerous in 2010. France are always tough and they host both Ireland and England so have a good fixture list in 2010.
Wales went into the last tournament as favourites having won the Grand Slam in 2008 but they were disappointing so they will be desparate to win again in 2009 and their odds reflect that. It is Scotland and Italy who as always are the outsiders with the bookies giving them no chance, as you can see below it looks like a four horse race.
